The Lord is longsuffering (July 28, 2020)

Updated: Nov 21, 2020

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Life application:

There is a countdown for this world to come to an end and be replaced by a new one. Christians all over the world have been expecting the end of this world since The Lord Jesus Christ promised His return and the end of the dominion of Satan and his followers. It has been more than 2000 years that this promise was given by the mouth of The Lord Jesus Christ, many generations of believers have passed away and never seen the eagerly expected end of the world. And nowadays, many are questioning this promise but, in this verse, we can see that The Lord doesn’t want to see people going to Hell therefore, He is giving us (His servants) to rescue many souls from going to Hell. God is love and He values every human’s life and want to save every willing soul on the earth. But some see this delay as slackness. Do not be deceive brothers and sisters, the end will come on a day when no one expect it. Therefore, let us continue to grow in doing good works of righteousness until the appearance of our Sovereign Lord Jesus Christ.

How to pray through:

1. Thank The Heavenly Father for life, good health, revelation of His word. And acknowledge that He is the source of your life.

2. Declare loudly that “All the promises of The Lord are Yes and Amen”

3. Ask The Lord to continue to manifest His works through your life until the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ.

4. Thank The Lord for keeping you from stumbling and strengthening your hope in the salvation.

In Christ Jesus Name. Amen
