Return and delight in The Almighty (September 20, 2020)

Updated: Nov 20, 2020

Job 22:23-27 If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents. Then you will lay your gold in the dust, And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks. Yes, the Almighty will be your gold and your precious silver; For then you will have your delight in the Almighty, and lift up your face to God. You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, And you will pay your vows.

Life application:

In today's world it is easy to be led astray by some events and pressure that the earth is going through. Some may say the world need peace but I will say the world need God, who gives peace that surpasses understanding. Repentance is one of the ways of returning to God. To delight in The Lord is to love and appreciate everything what He has done, and love to be found in His presence always. The Lord our God is Merciful , He is expecting those who know His ways and have been led astray to return to Him; knowing the mercies of God, the devil plays on the guilty mind to keep you away from God. Understand that there is no sin that cannot be cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ, like a prodigal son, we have to acknowledge our wrong doing, repent and return to The Lord our God. Therefore, your prayers will be heard by your Father in Heaven.

How to pray through:

1. Thank The Heavenly Father for life, good health, revelation of His word. And acknowledge that He is the source of your life.

2. Knowing where you are and the reason that have led you to become what you have become will lead into a true repentance and if you cannot find those reasons, you can ask God to search your heart and reveal what is hidden. Repent to leaving the presence of God and ask Him to forgive for that.

3. Speak to The Lord and tell him that you desire to be in His presence and ask Him to fill you with His Spirit.

4. Thank The Lord for renewing the right spirit within you.

In Christ Jesus Name. Amen
