Ignoring the devil will not keep him away from you (August 6, 2020)

Updated: Nov 21, 2020

James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Life application:

In some nations of the world, people believe that if you worship the demons, they will not harm you. Therefore in these nations there is a strong fear of the devil; So to appease the demons, they will often give sacrifices and offerings. Unfortunately by doing so, they put themselves under the dominion of the devil. The enemy doesn't need your car or your house, he want your body and soul. He wants your body so that through you, he can perform his evil works and he wants your soul so to carry you in hell away from God. At the beginning the devil approach may seem innocent and harmless but as he will do what he does the best (to kill, steal and destroy). In this world, you have to choose which side to belong to or who will be lord over your life and there is only two choices, God (through Jesus Christ) and evil( satan, demons and other angelic beings). The choice you make will determine your future on earth and in eternity. If you choose God through Jesus Christ, you will have to resist the devil all your earthly life and you will have peaceful and joyful life with God throughout eternity, otherwise you will spent eternity with the satan and with his cohort in the lake of fire. Choose to resist the devil by submitting yourself to God through Christ Jesus.

How to pray through:

1. Thank The Heavenly Father for life, good health, revelation of His word. And acknowledge that He is the source of your life.

2. If there is any hidden sin or evil practice in your life that can hinder you to draw closer to God; repent and ask God to forgive you.

3. Ask The Lord to deliver from all the snares (visible and invisible) of the evil one.

4. Ask The Lord to strengthen your faith so that the gate of hell will not prevail over your life and family.

4. Thank The Lord Jesus Christ for being your shield and strong tower.

In Christ Jesus Name. Amen
