Continuous learning the word of God sustains your life ( October 1, 2020)

Updated: Nov 20, 2020

Proverbs 4:13 Hold on to instruction; do not let go. Guard it, for it is your life.

Life application:

When you stop learning, you start dying. The Word of God gives life to whoever has chosen to live by it. In this world, we all have choice to make whether to believe that God exists or to deny His existence; whatever your choice is, know that it will define your destiny. If you believe that God exists, you will certainly want to know His ways and give your best to Him; you can know the ways of God or God only through His word. Some believers think because they have already read the entire Bible once, there is no need to read it again. The Bible is not a history book that you can read once and understand the full content of it; the scriptures in the Bible connect you to God and when you are reading there is an exchange between you and God. You probably know that it is impossible to understand all the mysteries that find in the Bible, even the apostles could not fully understand what The Lord Jesus Christ was explaining to them. Even though, nowadays we have many books written to explain the scriptures, you may agree or disagree with those authors but the Bible is such truth that you cannot disagree with it. If you don't understand what you are reading ask The Holy Spirit to enlighten you. Set your heart to daily read the scriptures even though you have already read many times, the Holy Spirit will continually give fresh revelation.

How to pray through:

1. Thank The Heavenly Father for life, good health, revelation of His word. And acknowledge that He is the source of your life.

2. We are leaving in a world that has made some people’s theories become like truth for the entire, those theories have created strongholds in our minds that must be destroyed. Only truth is able to destroy lies. Ask The Lord to give you understanding when you are meditating on His Word.

3. Ask The Lord to prosper His Word in your life even as you continually attend to it.

4. Thank The Lord for giving you life as it is written in His Words.

In Christ Jesus Name. Amen
